Are airport transfers included in this tour?

Yes, Airport transfers are included from Arusha or Kilimanjaro airports only, other airports can be booked on request at an additional cost.

Is it necessary to pre-book the optional Serengeti balloon safari?

It is recommended to book this excursion along with your tour as due to popular demand it is often fully booked. Subject to availability this activity can be booked via your tour guide at the start of the safari.

When is the best time to see the wildebeest migration?

The precise timing of the wildebeest migration changes annually depending on patterns of rainfall so it is a very unpredictable and spontaneous natural event. As a general guide, the best time to see the migration is usually between July & August. It´ s at this time that the wildebeest head northwards, towards the Masai Mara (in Kenya) and you get the "typical" mass river crossings you see documented on the television.

How much money will I need for meals and excursions?

Lunches are priced from $10 and dinners from about $15. Soft drinks are roughly $1 and beers about $2. Optional activities start from $20.
